Roadhouse group launches its foundation on it’s 30th anniversary!

On Thursday, September 8th 2022 Roadhouse launched its Foundation at one of its outlets Mezze by Roadhouse, Durbarmarg adjacent to its collaborative launch with Museum of Nepali Arts (MoNA). The curated artworks would hereby be exhibited for public viewing and sale at selective outlets of Roadhouse.

Roadhouse Foundation is a project that is inspired by the company’s history of serving in the hospitality industry for the past three decades. In recognition of the need for assistance with education and skill development in the nation’s hospitality industry the Foundation is a part that will work to fulfill this purpose.

The Managing Director further pledges to contribute Rs. 5 from each pizza sale, which will be matched by Roadhouse Group. Similarly, a certain percentage of the proceeds from the sales of the artworks on display by the Museum of Nepali Arts (MoNA) will also be added to the foundations’ fundings.

Through this foundation Roadhouse will be able to fund potential marginalized youth for their vocational training and skill enhancement related to the hospitality sector so that they too can dream and build a better future for themselves and families which fulfills the vision of its establishment.

Lisa Choegyal, Honorary Consul for New Zealand being an art enthusiast herself with Rajan Shakya, founder of Museum of Nepali Arts (MoNA) alongside, Chandan Kayestha, Managing Director & Ranjan Kayestha CEO of Roadhouse inaugurated the Foundation and collaboration with MoNa with high hopes of making this initiative-driven and cooperative approach of the vision behind Roadhouse Foundation.
